Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. All processing happens locally in your browser using the Canvas API. Your files never leave your device — there is no server involved.

Which formats are supported?

Input: anything your browser can decode (JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP and more). Output: WebP, JPEG or PNG.

Why is there no AVIF export?

Reliable AVIF encoding needs a heavy WebAssembly library. To keep this tool a single fast file with no downloads, we stick to the formats browsers can encode natively.

Is EXIF / location data removed?

Yes, by default metadata is stripped. Keeping it only works for JPEG → JPEG, where the original EXIF block is copied back in. Any other output removes it.

Is there a file size or count limit?

Only your device's memory. Very large images or huge batches use more RAM since everything is processed locally.
